Hollow body Technology
In 2002, we also realized mass production of hollow-body parts that had previously been impossible in die casting. This engineering has also been adopted to motorcycles which has led to unification of conflicting properties, to pursue lighter vehicles while securing greater frame-rigidity. This has greatly expanded die cast engineering flexibility.
As an existing theory is not available for the analysis of hollow-body parts, CAE is used to simulate the invisible flow of molten aluminum for die designing.
In order to promote a new application of hollow-body parts, we are working toward the development of both upsized and complicated parts to lead to lower costs. At the same time, we are focusing on new possibilities for die-casting.
